Every month, we create a presentation about a relevant scientist/engineer or concept to share with the club. These meetings will serve as the basis for community building and STEM interest. The topics will generally center around underrepresented scientists or controversial concepts at the cutting edge of STEM. The goal is for every member to learn something every meeting and to engage in polite disagreements. Members are welcome to be as prepared for the discussions as they wish. It is recommended that you are at least familiar with the concepts before the meeting, so we can get the conversation rolling. We understand that not all topics will pique your interest, but feel free to just come for the snacks!
We LOVE feedback. If you have any topic recommendations or snack proposals, we are always excited to hear them.
